JOB DESCRIPTION
System/Software test activities in the automotive industry represents a key component in the product lifecycle dye to the importance of having products that are safe and secure.
Your domain of activity will be products within Digital Access with Ultra-Wideband. It is a smartphone-based access to a vehicle. Our technology is especially convenient as the driver can access and start the car securely by using a smartphone. Ultra-Wideband is an exact and precise localization using Time-Of-Flight measurement. Continental Smartphone based Access enhanced with Ultra-Wideband provides maximum driver convenience as well as advanced antitheft security.
In your day-to-day job you will:
- In-depth analysis of system and software requirements
- Validate functional behavior
- Execution of tests and generation of test reports
- Documenting test specifications
- Analyze potential issues
- Build and maintain test setup
- Issue reporting and tracking by using specific tools
- Collaborate with Development Team and Product Owner
- Test automation by using specific automotive industry tools
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least one years of experience as a test engineer on embedded projects
- Basic knowledge of Python and/or Bash/Batch scripts.
- Basic knowledge of Version Control and Continuous Integration with Jenkins, Git, Gerrit
- Familiar with serial networks and communication protocols: SPI, UART, CAN, LIN, TCP, SSL
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others (Good communication skills, team player, driver mentality, pro-active attitude)
- Fluent in English
Would be nice to have:
- Basic understanding of C/C++ programming languages
- Handling of measurement equipment (Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Signal Generator)
- Work experience in Agile development (Scrum, Kanban), JIRA tooling
