What you'll do

  • Design and development of SAP applications such as reports, classes and enhancements
  • Modification / implementation of SAP standard programs using user exit / BAdI / enhancement
  • Design, development and support of solutions and interfaces
  • Development and adaptation of SAP Script / SAP Smartforms / Adobe Forms and printing programs
  • Joint project work in close coordination with colleagues from the specialist departments
  • Functional tests, error analysis and troubleshooting in the SAP environment
  • Technical documentation of the developments
  • Analysis and debugging of programs
  • If necessary, accompany migrations from SAP ERP (or any other Legacy system) to SAP S/4HANA

Who you are

  • You have a successfully completed degree (e.g., business informatics) or comparable training
  • 5+ years of professional experience as SAP ABAP Consultant/Developer and sound knowledge of the following:
    • 1.Must: ABAP OO, SAP System Landscape (with Transport Management System), Software Architecture, Open SQL, Clean Code
    • 2.Should: ABAP Unit, Test Driven Development, SAP Gateway / SAP System, Interfaces / SAP BAPIs, OData, Modern ABAP, SAP GUI, SAP Hana functionality, BODS, LSMW.
    • 3.S/4 HANA: Fiori, UI5, CDS Views, JavaScript, CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).
  • Practical Development experience/knowledge in more than one SAP modules (FI/CO/MM/PP/SD/(E)WM/HR/ SAP Workflow) with ABAP/ABAP OO
  • Experience in current development tools such as SAP Cloud Platform, WebIDE, ABAP Development Tool or the HANA Migration Cockpit desirable
  • First experiences in frontend development desirable
  • Structured and result-oriented way of working

  • Your profile is rounded off by a good command of English, a deep understanding of SAP processes and team and communication skills. German language skills would be an advantage, but it is not a must.
