About Codefi

Codefi is at the forefront of the blockchain fintech revolution. It builds, deploys, and runs critical applications across both Enterprise and crypto/DeFi, multiple blockchain verticals (digital assets, payments, workflows, data, staking, Ethereum 2.0), as well as ConsenSys’s other industry-leading products, including MetaMask, Quorum, and Infura. The Codefi team is composed of multiple decentralised product teams across all verticals distributed across Europe and US and working mostly remotely.

About the Role

Come shape our Defi and Fintech Developer Experience and make it easy for developers to use our products. Your days may include working with our product managers, prototyping a new product, writing a new API standard, performing user research, tweaking documentation, talking with developers and market teams, and programming or other side projects. You will also participate in efforts to monetize services in ways that offer incentives and utility back to developers.

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Fintech and DeFi developer tools that millions of developers worldwide will use as key infrastructure for building the future of finance.
  • Ensure that DeFi and Fintech developers have a consistent, modern, and compelling experience across all of ConsenSys’s products. You will own the design, creation, and maintenance of our DeFi and Fintech focused offerings. Shape and define standards for building great developer products, educate our product teams, and hold the bar across the company.
  • Help define how we build higher level abstractions and components developers can easily incorporate into consumer or enterprise grade applications; how and why we deploy developer tools and API services as building blocks; and what we need to evolve our sandboxes for discovery.
  • Build and lead the work of a cross functional team (user research, data analytics, technical writing, front end, and API developers) to be user focused, discovery led, and data driven as the developer’s advocate.

You may be a fit for this role if you:

  • Have a passion for crypto/DeFi and Fintech, open platforms, and equal financial opportunity.
  • Have 5+ years of experience in product management of developer products. You have driven product development from discovery to concept to launch; aligned teams and stakeholders on a shared vision tied to larger strategy; orchestrated cross-functional teams of analysts, designers, and engineers; facilitated user research or experiments to validate hypotheses; used metrics and feedback to drive development; shipped products in a fast moving environment.
  • A passion for software and programming, having supported services in production.
  • Have experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle; and of the problems developers face at each with debugging, observability, monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Have excellent writing for audiences with different technical backgrounds.

  • Having a favorite product Developer Experience. For documentation, we view Plaid, Stripe, GitHub, Twilio, SendGrid as high caliber.
  • Have built or used Dapps, Ethereum, MetaMask
  • Experience building Fintech APIs
  • Familiarity with distributed infrastructure and architectures, blockchain technologies, and decentralized services.
  • Understanding of the Ethereum
