Project Overview:

Our end client is a leading telecommunications service provider of integrated communication services (broadband, landline and mobile) in Europe. The client operates third, fourth, and fifth generation mobile networks, with 5G coverage available to over quarter of the country’s population. As a leading CSP in its country, the client provides connectivity services to tenths of millions of subscribers and plays a vital part in shaping digitalization.

As a subcontractor, Intellias will support BSS (business support systems) and IT systems transformation with the goal to deliver faster product launches and provide an enhance customer experience. The scope of the transformation project may include CRM, Point of sale, self-service, among other telecom and enterprise IT platforms.

This multi-year project (5 year contract) offers a stable career opportunity and an exposure to the cutting-edge 5G and AI/ML use cases and telecom services. You will deal with the implementation of high-performance enterprise-scale applications using the following tech: React, Spring boot + kotlin, microservices, J2EE, SQL/PL SQL, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Junit, DB in a range from mongo to Oracle (depending on the exact platform).

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary account starter;
  • Act as A Technical Product owner/Proxy product owner;
  • Conduct architectural assessments;
  • Provide internal and external consulting services to various stakeholders;
  • Technical representation;
  • Coordinating with the End Customer Product Manager to define the roadmap strategy.

Requirements:

  • 5 years experience as solution architect / designer in Telecom domain;
  • Overall 10 years if development + designer experience;
  • Executed COTS based SI BSS transformation programs as designer/architect;
  • Extensive knowledge of Channel and CRM domains and functional knowledge of middleware.

Key Skills needed:

  • Open api specification – experience of getting api spec agreed and knowledge of openapi 3.0;
  • Working with components to agree the L3 data model (attributes and values);
  • Knowledge of event based integration and different patterns (notification, state transfer, CQRS..);
  • Experience of agreeing event specification (similar to API spec above);
  • Experience of defining scope of microservices and good understanding of MS architecture.
