We are looking for a QA Developer to join our team!

This is what we do:

Data pipelines, data manipulation, ingestion and integration of multiple data sources, data processing in an optimal way, data storage, data access/presenting, reporting, and data providing for data science/BI/ML team to work with the right data in a performant fashion.

Some of the technologies we like to use:

  • Kafka for messaging, ingestion, multiple data solutions for storage including but not limited to Cassandra, Postgre, Druid
  • Glue code is written in Python/Java/Scala
  • PowerBI, Superset tech for visualization/reporting
  • Ansible/Terraform for pipeline automation and deployment
  • Airflow for orchestration
  • Writing cloud-native data pipeline using AWS/Azure/GCP or custom pipelines using open source tools

You:

  • You are an engineer. That means (to us) that you understand why it is important to test and monitor the software, write test cases, automate test execution
  • You have 3+ years of practical experience in REST/SOAP web services testing, testing frameworks (like TestNG, JUnit, or any other)
  • You are writing and executing test cases, automation of integration and regression test cases, developing stress, load and performance tests
  • You use git for code version control
  • You understand SDLC/STLC
  • You already know / familiar with / would like to learn distributed technologies such as Kafka, Cassandra, Spark, Flink, the-latest-and-greatest-you name it-tech, etc
  • You worked on a project with Scrum (or any other agile) organization, so you know how to prepare for daily, demo, retrospective, refinement and you know how to manage your work transparently through the issue tracking tool
  • You like learning new things and are open to exploring different approaches to solutions
  • You like a healthy balanced relationship between work and free time – we don't like overtime
  • You know when and how to ask for help – we're here to work together
