MENU is looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide support for IT services including installation, consultation, troubleshooting, user assistance and new applications rollouts.

IT Support Specialist is an employee-oriented service representative that acts as a competent first point of contact and resolves any emerging technical problem that our employees might face.

The main responsibility of IT Support Specialist is providing excellent, competent support with complaints, errors, questions, implementations and other queries for our employees.

In this role, IT Support Specialist is expected to be a strong multi-tasker who can handle multiple projects at a time, whilst prioritizing tasks effectively, and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment.

Type of contract: Permanent

The key responsibilities of the IT Support Specialist:

  • Provide access to our platforms
  • Manage users at different access levels
  • Support the roll-out of new applications
  • Provide remote support in the configuration of software and hardware
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults (remotely)
  • Research and evaluate equipment providers in multiple countries based on price, service, quality and warranty to meet the needs of our staff
  • Purchase hardware and software for our staff in multiple countries
  • Organize IT-related invoices and present periodic expense reports to Accounting

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of experience providing internal IT support to a medium to large-sized organization
  • Experience in hardware procurement
  • Technical knowledge of Confluence, Jira, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Zendesk and Helpjuice will be positively considered
  • Experience using Jira Service Management as a ticketing system
  • Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Understanding of the basic concepts of Computer and Information Systems security
  • Certifications in IT will be positively considered
  • Full verbal and written proficiency in English
