Job Description

Business analyst is acting as connection between business users and development team. Business analyst should evaluate, analyze and review business processes and user needs, document and manage requirements, define scope and objectives and participate in software development lifecycle including analysis and gathering information, documenting processes, testing and release.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct workshops with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements and produce reports
  • Work closely with subject matter experts, development and others to develop functional requirements for existing as well as potential products
  • Develop clear, user-centric requirements documentation to describe desired functionality
  • Support software testing and the QA team to ensure solution meets business needs and requirements nad perform user acceptance testing
  • Collaborate with project managers
  • Prepare training materials and provide training to the Customers, provide training and guidance to junior staff
  • Cultivating effective relationships with all relevant stakeholders
  • Participating in presales activities and creating proposal, Preparing and holding presentations

Requirements

  • University degree in appropriate field of study, IT and Computer science preferred (Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Organizational Science)
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Business or System analysis, working in software development lifecycle
  • Experience and domain knowledge in insurance business minimum 5 years
  • Positive attitude and ability to work independently and in team in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to details
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both English and Serbian, including technical writing skills
  • Ability to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective, respectful and trusting relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong planning, organisational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to re-prioritise across multiple projects
