Senior Local IT Technician
Job Description
The Senior Local IT Technician is responsible for delivering on-site support on the hardware and software used by Ubisoft employees.
Responsibilities:
- Offering on-site support to end users on hardware (workstations and laptops) and standard software (Windows OS, office pack)
- Building and installing the new employees work environment
- Installing and maintaining server room equipment
- Configuring and deploying DevKits (Sony and Microsoft)
- Overseeing that Local IT hardware stocks are accounted for and well-kept within internal asset management databases
- Test and regularly do technological watch on internal tools and systems, contacting and issuing tickets for other teams when needed
- Plan and manage big setups (ex: events, training sessions, site floor technical revamps)
- Ensuring proper meeting room configuration
- Ensuring the proper follow-up on issues and requests
- Updating the knowledge base with newly diagnosed problems
- Gathering employee satisfaction ratings through ticket surveys
- Being proactive, identifying and communicating potential improvement to his manager
- Promote a positive attitude within the team
- Carrying out all other related tasks
Qualifications
Must have:
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Diploma in Information Technology
- Previous work experience in IT Support and expertise in customer support
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, SMS and Active Directory
- Good knowledge of monitoring tools and networking
- Ability to ensure timely follow-up issues and requests
Nice to have:
- Scripting ability (batch files, VBScript, PowerShell) is a big plus
- Keeping up to date with latest hardware news
Selection process:

- [90 minutes] – MS Teams video interview with hiring managers and a recruiter
