Project Overview:
The Android operating system has become a widespread OS used for touchscreen devices, cell phones, tablets, and different home electronics. But regular Android does not cover in-vehicle use cases.
Fortunately, Android Automotive OS comes to the rescue. It is an operating system and platform running directly on in-vehicle hardware. As a result, it allows a much better user experience for drivers and passengers.
AAOS was designed for driver safety, stability, and simplicity; it provides Google Automotive Services (GAS), a collection of applications and services (Google Maps, Google Play, Google Assistant, etc.)
This course will teach you how to build full-featured AAOS applications using Android SDK, Car specific API (Car API, Vehicle HAL, Car UI Library, etc.) together with Kotlin programming language.
After completing Android Automotive Bootcamp, you will know the main Android Automotive OS components and features.
