Position
As a Test Engineer the goal is to estimate, document, execute and track manual and automated test cases as well as report and track bugs within the planned software releases following the process and methodologies. Test Engineers should also be embedded in the technical and functional design efforts to improve agility and testing accuracy, providing feedback to stakeholders, and provide technical support to end users, ensuring their smooth experience while using the platform.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
- Define test conditions and test cases from functional and technical documentation.
- Test existent and new functionalities through manual and automated tests.
- Identify, document and track bugs.
- Perform regression and post-deployment testing on each release.
- Estimate, track and execute test cases.
- Follow and provide feedback on testing processes and methodologies applied by the team.
- Provide feedback on functional and technical enhancements to the respective stakeholders.
- Review requirements, specifications, and design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Follow testing processes to meet software quality requirements.
- Participate in triage and design meetings.
- Provide guidance and technical support to internal teams reporting issues.
- Investigate alongside peers to find the root cause of issues.
- Provide feedback on the causes of non-conforming functionality.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools, strategies and methodologies defined within the team.
- Other responsibilities as appropriate or assigned.

Skills
- Microsoft Office 365 is required.
- C1 level of English is required.
- Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Black box testing is required.
- Knowledge of software development life cycles and its processes is required.
- Knowledge of common software stacks and the integration between its layers is required.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies is required.
- Working knowledge of Test Management platforms (e.g. TestRail) is required.
- Working knowledge of Project Management tools (e.g. Jira) is required.
- Basic knowledge of automated testing tools is required.
- Good knowledge of SQL is a plus.
- Knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript is a plus.
- Experience with API testing is a plus.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, quality assurance, or equivalent is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Test Engineering.
