Overall Objective of the Role:
Our client, one of the leading developers of software for interactive TV in the USA, is currently seeking to hire a Linux system administrator.
Responsibilities:
- Configuration and support of the company’s network infrastructure, servers and laboratori壯陽藥
es - Administration of local, remote and on-premises laboratories
- Administration of various systems such as Subversion, GitLab, Gerrit, GitHub, OpenVPN, IPSec, BGP, OSPF, RIP, Zimbra, libvirt/KVM, LXC/LXD, Amazon EC2. MySQL, PostgreSQL, OpenDJ (LDAP). –Laboratories: Tomcat, Nginx, NFS, Ansible
- Administration of DNS
- Networking hardware: Cisco, D-Link, HP/3Com, MikroTik, NETGEAR, Juniper, Ubiquiti
- Organization of backups (various configurations of devices, databases, operating systems)
- Monitoring (Zabbix, Prometheus)
- Participation in the information systems implementation projects
- Development and maintenance of documentation up to date
Requirements:
- Thorough understanding of Linux-based systems
- Administration of software raids, use of various kinds of file systems (BTRFS, ZFS, etc.), abilities to set up VPN tunnels in Linux
- Administration of various Linux services (Bind, Postfix, Quagga, Apache, Nginx etc.)
- Administration of LibVirt/KVM, LXC/LXD virtual machines
- Thorough understanding of RouterOS
- Network configuration and administration on Mikrotik (DHCP, Bound, NAT, VPN, dynamic and static routing (BGP, OSFP)
- Experience in OpenVPN servers administration
- Experience in setting up geographically distributed systems; networking of geographically distributed offices of the company
- Hands-on experience with cross-site network creation and maintenance (several locations)
- Abilities to multitask
- Ability to understand what is already configured and working
- Expertise with Cisco, Mikrotik, D-link equipment
- Knowledge of scripting languages and the ability to apply them in practice
- Hands-on experience using software configuration management (Ansible)
- English at a conversational level
